Everything you need to know when ordering from Paper Moon Designs.
1. About Paper Moon Designs
Paper Moon Designs creates personalised astrology books and keepsakes using the individual birth details provided with each order.
By placing an order through the Paper Moon Designs website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please take a moment to read them before ordering.
2. Personalised Products
Each Paper Moon astrology book is individually created using the birth details supplied with your order. The astrological placements are calculated from these details and the written interpretations are then carefully selected and personalised for the person the book belongs to.
Because every book is made specifically for one individual, it is important that all information provided when ordering is accurate.
3. Birth Details and Personalisation
When ordering a personalised astrology book, you will be asked to provide the information required for that particular book. This may include:
Name — entered exactly as you would like it to appear on the front cover
Date of birth
Exact local time of birth
Town/city and country of birth
Please enter the time exactly as it was recorded locally in the place of birth. There is no need to convert the time to another time zone.
The accuracy of the astrology within your book depends upon the accuracy of the birth information supplied. Please check all details carefully before completing your order.
Paper Moon Designs cannot be responsible for inaccuracies in a completed book that result from incorrect information supplied by the customer.
4. Changes to Your Order
If you discover that you have entered something incorrectly after placing your order, please contact Paper Moon Designs as soon as possible.
If work on your personalised book has not yet begun, we will be happy to correct the information where possible.
Once creation of the book has begun, or the completed book has been submitted for printing, changes may no longer be possible. Depending on the stage of production, additional costs may apply if the book needs to be recreated or reprinted because incorrect information was supplied with the original order.
5. Astrology and Interpretations
Paper Moon astrology books are created to offer insight into a person's natural tendencies, qualities, strengths and potential areas of growth through the symbolic language of astrology.
Astrology is interpretive in nature. The content within a Paper Moon book is intended for personal reflection, insight and enjoyment and should not be regarded as a prediction of future events or outcomes.
Astrological interpretations are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal or other professional advice.
For children's books in particular, the interpretations are intended to offer parents and families another thoughtful way of understanding and nurturing the individual child. They are not intended to define, limit or determine who a child is or who they may become.
6. Orders and Payment
All prices displayed on the Paper Moon Designs website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required when an order is placed. An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
Paper Moon Designs reserves the right to correct genuine pricing, product description or website errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
7. Creating Your Book
Each personalised book is individually prepared and carefully checked before being submitted for professional printing.
Please allow approximately 2–3 business days for this process. During particularly busy periods, preparation may take a little longer.
Because each book is individually created, production timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed completion dates.
8. Printing and Delivery
Once your personalised book has been completed and checked, it is submitted for professional printing and delivery.
Printing and delivery generally take approximately two weeks, although actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, printing volumes, postal or courier services and circumstances outside the reasonable control of Paper Moon Designs.
Where international delivery is available, delivery times and charges may differ from Australian orders.
Paper Moon Designs will take reasonable care to ensure your order is prepared and submitted promptly but cannot guarantee delivery by a particular date unless expressly agreed in writing.
If you are ordering for a birthday, baby shower or another special occasion, we recommend allowing additional time wherever possible.
9. Gifts and Gift Vouchers
Paper Moon books may be purchased as gifts. No product price is printed inside the personalised book.
Where you do not yet have the exact birth information required — for example, when buying a surprise gift and you don't wish to ask the parents for the details — a Paper Moon Designs gift voucher may be a more suitable option.
Any separate conditions shown when purchasing a gift voucher will also apply to that purchase.
10. Returns, Refunds and Problems With Your Order
Because Paper Moon books are individually personalised and created to order, Paper Moon Designs does not generally accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind once work on the personalised product has begun.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If your book arrives damaged, has a printing or manufacturing fault, is materially different from what you ordered, or Paper Moon Designs has made an error in its preparation or personalisation, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that the issue can be assessed and an appropriate remedy provided where required.

Under Australian Consumer Law, consumers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy where applicable consumer guarantees have not been met. These statutory rights cannot be excluded by these Terms & Conditions.
11. Colours, Printing and Product Appearance
Every effort is made to represent Paper Moon books accurately in photographs and images displayed on the website.
Please be aware that colours can appear slightly different between screens and printed materials, and minor variations may occur during the printing process. Such small variations are a natural part of printed products and are not necessarily considered faults.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the written content, astrological interpretations, illustrations, artwork, book designs, layouts, branding, graphics and other original material created by Paper Moon Designs remain the intellectual property of Paper Moon Designs.
Purchasing a book gives you ownership of that physical copy for your personal use. It does not give permission to reproduce, copy, publish, distribute, sell or commercially use the content or design of the book without prior written permission from Paper Moon Designs.
Sharing occasional photographs of your book for personal purposes or on social media is, of course, very welcome.
13. Website Information
Paper Moon Designs takes reasonable care to keep product descriptions, pricing and other information on the website accurate and up to date.
Occasionally, however, errors or omissions may occur. We reserve the right to correct genuine errors and update information where necessary.
Product offerings, designs, prices, availability and these Terms & Conditions may also be updated from time to time as Paper Moon Designs evolves.
14. Privacy
Personal information supplied when placing an order is used to process your purchase, create your personalised product, communicate with you about your order and provide the services you have requested.

15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian legislation.
Where these Terms & Conditions are inconsistent with a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, that statutory right or remedy will apply.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
